Y-shaped lanyard with tear-apart energy absorber and VERTIGO carabiners
Very simple to use, absorbs the energy of a fall by the tearing apart of certain sewn threads.
* Absorber is stored in a zippered pouch:
o protected from abrasion,
o condition can be easily inspected (practical for rental programs).
* Retractable lanyard arms are practical to use:
o reduced bulk,
o carabiners are easily reached.
* Carabiners are simple and quick to clip for increased safety.
* Third, shorter arm attached to absorber for clipping to the bars (for resting) or for progressing closer to the cable.
* Webbing loop allows direct attachment to harness with a girth hitch.
